If you say Conservative you are therefore a Liberal. Right? How stupid do they think we are?

The Media Research Center, a conservative media group, recently released what it called a “study” showing that the media has a liberal bias. Their claim is that there have been more mentions of the word "conservative" than the word "liberal" in a given period, and their conclusion is that the news must be "biased" against conservatives. This argument might (and I say only might since the context of the information is more important thatn the labels) have some merit if the number of conservatives and liberals mentioned in the news were equal. But Conservatives control the House, the Senate, and the White House. Conservative religious groups have been exerting forces and speaking out loudly (often calling for violence against judges, but I digress) in the news. Other conservative groups have been vocal since the election as well. Naturally with all the conservatives in the news the word conservative is going to come up more often than liberal. Now the right is championing this “study” for proof of liberal bias in the media. Are they retarded? Do they think the majority of the American People are? This time looking at context rather than the occurence of one or two words. Study? That's what they call a Study? They would flunk any serious class studying like that. Sheesh!
