Media Again Admits They Failed To Inform Americans About Stories Embarrassing to Bush Admin – When Will They Stop Failing And Do Their Job?
In the aftermath of the Iraq Invasion several US Newspapers admitted that they failed to report to the American People viewpoints contrary to the Bush Administration with regard to the Invasion of Iraq. The televised US news sources were even more guilty of this, but have yet to admit their error. Time and time again since news agencies – again mostly print – have admitted that they failed to report to the American People news stories embarrassing to the Bush Administration. The latest admission comes with regard to the Downing Street Memos, a collection of leaked documents from the British Government showing that the Bush Administration had decided to invade Iraq by July of 2002 (before getting the Congressional approval necessary) and that while the intelligence did not support a connection between Saddam and 9/11 or existence of nuclear, chemical and biological WMD in Iraq, those “facts” were being “fixed” to support the decision to go to war. Until March of 2003 the Bush Administration continued to tell the American People and Congress that military action was a last resort. The memos also show that the Bush Administration didn't give much thought to what would happen in Iraq after Saddam was overthrown leading to the situation today. Print news agencies have now admitted that they failed to inform the American People about the Downing Street Memos. And that’s good that they are admitting AGAIN that they have AGAIN failed their job to inform the American People about the nefarious activities of their elected officials in Washington, but the real question is WHEN THE HELL ARE THESE JOKERS GOING TO ACTUALLY DO THEIR JOBS AND REPORT WHAT IS GOING ON INSTEAD OF CONSEALING IT AND APPOLOGIZING FOR FAILING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE LATER??????!!!!!!!!!!!! Please contact the media and ask them that question. We the American People deserve an answer.
