Kerry Allows Navy Release of Military, Medical Records Once Again Proving Swift Boat Liars were Lying to Get Bush Elected!
An article from the Boston Globe appeared yesterday covering the fact that John Kerry’s complete medical and military records have been released and they once again prove that the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth were anything but for truth. “The records, which the Navy Personnel Command provided to the Globe, are mostly a duplication of what Kerry released during his 2004 campaign for president, including numerous commendations from commanding officers who later criticized Kerry's Vietnam service… it turned out that the records included commendations from some of the same veterans who were [in the lead up to the 2004 elections] criticizing him.”
“Many of the records contain praise for Kerry's service. For example, the documents quote Kerry's former commanding officers as saying he is ‘one of the finest young officers with whom I have served;’ is ‘the acknowledged leader of his peer group;’ and ‘is highly recommended for promotion.’”
The Swift Boat Veterans for Truth had long claimed that a full disclosure of Kerry’s complete record would contradict his version and support theirs. Well, it doesn’t! It supports everything he said and released before the election, and contradicts everything they said. Proving them once again to be LIARS!!! The TV News will never cover this just as they refused to cover the other incidents that showed this group of GOP operatives was deliberately misleading the American people during the lead up to the 2004 Presidential elections in order to insure a Bush victory. Their leader John O’Neill had been handpicked by Nixon to discredit Kerry when he became a voice for veterans against the Viet Nam war after returning a decorated hero. O’Neill has had more than 30 years to brush up his lies, and even those were often exposed as such only to remain unreported by the mainstream media especially televised news where most Americans get their news. I only hope that future generations will understand how demonstrably deceitful the Republican Party has been in deliberately misleading the American people with the full compliance and collusion of the Corporate-Owned US News Media Outlets. Our children and grandchildren may never again trust the mainstream news media once the truth is known, and perhaps they shouldn’t.
