Right-Wing “Christian” Group Urges Africans to Starve Rather than Accept Money from Christian Churches Tolerant of Gays! Who Would Jesus Starve?

A supposed Christian group, Family Research Council, which has been exerting a lot of control in Washington these days, has been urging African Churches to refuse donations from US Christian Churches that are tolerant of gay people. The President of the Family Research Council, Tony Perkins, who gave $82,000 to Ku Klux Klansman David Duke to get his who's-who-of-racist-America mailing list isn’t telling people is that some of the money these African churches are refusing to accept is money for people with AIDS and or who are starving. The Radical Religious Right are praising Africans who are following their advice to refuse donations from tolerant US Christian Churches even though that means that people will starve and die in agony!!!! Many of them are recent victims of genocide based on prejudice and bigotry. Clearly the RRR think it is a good thing for black-skinned people to suffer and die rather than to accept money from those who like Jesus ministered to those whom society considers outcasts: in Jesus’ case it was lepers, prostitutes and tax collectors, and in the modern case it’s gay people. Many of these RRR members have stickers saying “What would Jesus do?” a more appropriate question for these pseudo-Christians would be, “Who would Jesus starve?” Read more about this here.
